IMPORTANT INFORMATION
How to have a good time at Foodaholics Raas Garba 2025?
We know you are all prepped, and passed up for the best Navaratri night you have ever been to. And we say that in all seriousness - It will be. You have a big role in making sure it's like that for everyone around you. So here is a little list of things you should know so you can have the most memorable Navaratri of your life!
1. The Venue is Kapidhwaj Lawns - https://share.google/z8cpjiBFv53QfdyuX
2. Pre-book your parking space on “Show my Parking” for a hassle-free parking experience. Here’s the link : https://showmyparking.onelink.me/789G/ndmafark . You’ll be able to select the parking lot you want to park in. Please note that we have ample parking space near the venue. The farthest one is 700m away and there will be golf-carts doing rounds to facilitate the logistics between the venue and the parking lot.
3. Gates open at 8PM. Aarti begins at 8:15PM. Sharp. If these are things that matter to you, we are pretty sure we’ll be on time, so you can be too.
4. Right at the entrance you’ll be requested to present your pass, so that our team can assist you with a smooth entry into the venue. You will be given a Wrist Band - your visa into the venue. It looks pretty, it feels good, and we have people who’ll help you put them on. These help you freely move in and out of the venue.
5. There are three areas inside the venue : The first, most important, and the largest, is the Garba space. This is where you dance, and dance, and dance. Second is the food area, the food is delicious. Capiche!? The third, is a kids play area by Rhythm Rumble. If you have children you can bring them here and they’ll have just as good a time as you!
6. We’ve put up concentric circles as lane directives for you to dance in. That being said, you’re welcome to perform any style you choose! Don’t feel the pressure to follow others. Just make sure you’re in your lane, and moving.
7. Carry your dandiyas to enjoy Raas!
8. We’ve placed enough dustbins across the venue so make sure you use them. Look and you’ll definitely see one. If you can’t, ask a member of the squad. In any case, don’t litter.
9. We're 100% sure you won’t - but still just casually putting it out there - no spitting, smoking, consuming or carrying of controlled substances on the entire garba premises. The only trouble you want tonight is getting the steps to a dodhiyu right.
10. Leave your footwear at the designated footwear booth outside the dance area. Do not dance with your shoes on. Removing them is both respectful and safe.
11. Feeling stuck? Don’t worry. Find a volunteer around you and they will help you with whatever you need. We have doctors on premises to help with emergencies, along with an ambulance parked right outside.
12. We have more than ample parking space to accommodate all the people we are expecting. Even still it will help facilitate a smooth experience when you -
a) Carpool or choose a third-party mobility serviceb) Follow instructions of our parking force, patiently, and park correctly
13. Be kind to people who request you to wait your turn. Please treat our team & the squad with compassion & empathy. They’re pulling in extra-long hours so you can have fun in a clean & safe space.
Most importantly - Don’t forget to have fun! Foodaholics Raas Garba is home, treat it like one!
Love, Team Foodaholics
